Nick & Tiffany Wimmer

The vision for Camp Canaan started as a dream in the hearts of Nick and Tiffany Wimmer back in 2002.

Matt Harper

Matt was so impacted by camp ministry that he decided to join Nick and Tiffany in starting Camp Canaan and moved to Rock Hill, SC in January 2005.  Matt started as the Program Director in a full time capacity in 2010 and is now the Executive Director.

Audrey Adams

Audrey started at Camp Canaan in 2014 as an adventure guide and administrative assistant. Now six years later she works as the office manager.

Matt Hunt

Matt Hunt began his journey with Canaan in June of 2019. As Program Director, Matt works with groups to help them have incredible adventures whether playing on the high ropes, riding the canopy tour, or kayaking down the Catawba.

Clay Neal

Clay joined Canaan not long after the Ground Breaking Ceremony. He’s been taking care of the grounds ever since! Clay supervises the maintenance of the facilities, vehicles and property here at Canaan.

Molly Garrison

Molly joined the Camp Canaan family as an Adventure Guide in February of 2018. She had been working in the summer camp industry since 2016, and joined our team for seasonal adventure work, leading Zipline Canopy Tours and facilitating our other High Adventure Activities.

Jonathan Burkhead

Jonathan came to camp as an Adventure Guide in Summer 2019 after it was recommended by his professor at Winthrop University, Geoff Morrow. From that Summer onward, he continued to work at camp year-round while continuing his studies.

Robbie Conley

Robbie Conley joined the Canaan team in July of 2013 first as a volunteer photographer, next as the Marketing Manager and now is the Business Development Director.

Beth Warnken

She recently graduated from Winthrop in May 2021 with a degree in English Education and hopes to always be able to impact young people. Beth enjoys reading, writing, playing her ukulele, sushi, and anything outdoors or active.
