Welcome back to York County and the Greater Charlotte Area’s most talked about Camp experience! This year brings some very exciting opportunities for families during the summer months. Please be sure to mark your calendars for our annual Summer Camp Open House on Saturday May 12, 2012 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.

Canaan Day Camp: The Canaan Day Camp experience is a 10-week program running  from June 4 to August 10, 2012. Camp is open to children ages 6-13 and offers a variety of age appropriate programs to fill the summer days- Monday- Friday, 7:30am- 6:00pm. Each week is uniquely different and includes a variety of adventure, sports, art and educational programs.

Overnight Camp: Launching our 3rd year of Overnight Camp, we will be opening five week-long sessions for campers ages 9-13! Overnight Camp will start on Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm this year and run through Friday evenings at 6:00pm where we will have a closing ceremony. The 5 night, 5 1/2 day program consists of exciting day and evening programs facilitated by qualified Canaan staff. Campers will enjoy home-cooked meals and snacks everyday!

Family Camp: This year we are inviting parents and campers to come out to Canaan for a one-night camp experience on Memorial Day weekend- May 27-28. If you’re new to Canaan this is a perfect opportunity to meet our staff, enjoy one of our signature meals and have fun “experiencing a day in the life of a camper.” If you’re a returning family, what better way to get amped for another exciting summer than to kick off the season bunking with your kiddo and enjoying all that camp at Canaan has to offer.
