Welcome to the 1st Annual Canaan Music Festival- April 27-28, 2012 !

We’ve talked about doing a music & arts festival for years and quite honestly- we’re out of excuses- we’re ready to get things rollin’! So what is the CMF all about? It is a weekend music festival that celebrates original music from artist in our region ranging from bluegrass, folk, Americana, contemporary Christian and even a little southern rock.

Additionally, Canaan will offer weekend camping and cabin rentals, adventure activities, an arts bazaar, kids activities and food and beverage vendors for an awesome weekend on the island. Families can come for the day or choose to stay the weekend with us. The purpose of the CMF is an extension of the core vision of Camp Canaan which is to provide opportunities to get folks outside and grow within a community of faith. All proceeds from the event will go to scholarship underprivileged kids to come to summer camp this year.
