Top 5 Items Forgotten At Camp
Summer Camp
We wrote about this topic a few years ago but since then, we’ve added a few new items to the list that we wanted to share them with you!
- Water Bottles – This has quickly grown to the most forgotten items at camp! At the end of each day we collect as many bottles as we can and put them on the lost and found table so if your camper comes home without a bottle, be sure to check there the following day!
- Towels – Towels were the most forgotten item but Water Bottles have taken the top spot. If you are looking for your camper’s towel, we hang lost towels between the two trees next to the cubbies.
- Swim Goggles – With all of the water activities on property, we’ve gathered quite the collection of Swim Goggles. Like the other items on this list, be sure to check lost and found each day to see if we’ve found your camper’s!
- Swim Shoes – We’ve added swim shoes to the list as they’ve grown in popularity. Swim shoes, like goggles are not required accessories for camp but many campers love to explore the lake with their goggles and swim shoes.
- Lunch Boxes – These are typically not forgotten until the final day of camp as parents are rushing home for their weekend plans. Don’t worry, we hold on to lost and found items until the follow Thursday so feel free to stop by to pick up any forgotten lunch boxes!
Honorable Mentions – Hats, Ice Packs, Tupperware and Store Items. As we’ve added more items to our store we’re seeing more and more store items in lost and found!
We always encourage parents to label any items you bring to summer camp with your campers name. This allows us to reach out to you if we find your campers item.
