Welcome to the 2020 Camp Canaan Virtual Benefit! We invite you to join us for a virtual evening of storytelling and fun while coming together as a community to help make Camp Canaan more accessible to families wishing to send their children to a Christ-centered camp. We invite you to dream with us and learn about the exciting future of Camp Canaan.
At the beginning of 2020, a virtual benefit wasn’t even in our ethos, but here we are about to host one! If you cringe at the thought of having to deal with anything technical, we have good news – it’s simple! If you can open your computer and navigate to a web page, then you’ll have no problem joining us for the benefit. Before the event begins, we’ll e-mail you the link to join. It’s that simple.
This year’s event is for the entire family and there is no fee to watch. Expect to see some familiar faces, sing your favorite camp songs and see what’s coming next at Canaan!
The mission of Camp Canaan is to provide specialized outdoor experiences that encourage growth in faith, including a deeper relationship with Christ and others in the environment of summer camps, retreats, and adventure programs.
In the past two years, Camp Canaan has had a waiting list of over 400 kids wishing to experience summer programs at Canaan and are unable to because of limited spacing with our onsite accommodations. With a waiting list that’s expected to grow, the focus of Camp Canaan’s board is to raise funds to build a new cabin.
Camp Canaan will be raising funds via four exciting ways! We’d ask that you help support at least one of these initiatives which are exciting – parents, you may be especially interested in the raffle prizes as there’s a unique twist with a special benefit!
This year’s raffle is exciting – we’ve got some amazing prizes and an additional benefit that parents will love. Purchasing one (or more) raffle tickets will:
- Give parents the opportunity to pre-register kids for the 2021 season before normal registration opens!
- The opportunity to win an Apple Watch, an Apple iPad, and… drum roll please, a very sweet Golf Cart!
Raffle tickets are $50 per ticket. Winners will be drawn during the virtual benefit and you must be present (as in registered and online to win!)
This year’s silent auction is chock-full of amazing items! The silent auction will be going live two weeks prior to the benefit! You’ll have two weeks to bid, dream, and scheme on winning the ultimate item! The auction will officially end at the conclusion of the virtual benefit programming!

Through the years, Camp Canaan has been blessed by the generosity of many who believe in the mission of Camp Canaan and its importance of camp’s role to help in the development of kids with a focus around Christ’s love and teachings. We would ask all of Camp Canaan’s supporters to prayerfully consider donating to Camp Canaan regardless of the amount – every little bit helps!
