The Camp Canaan High Adventure Course is one of the most sophisticated high ropes courses near Charlotte, NC. Everyone starts the same way – by navigating the Cocoon Tube net climb – and then chooses their own path through the high ropes course elements, providing a just-right personal challenge. No experience necessary!

At Camp Canaan, a group of people equipped with helmets gathers at the base of a high ropes course set among trees. The course features rope bridges, swinging elements, and a cargo net, all elevated off the ground. Ideal for summer camp and corporate retreats.

Create your own adventure by choosing which high ropes course elements suit your aspirations, confidence level, and physical ability. Exit the course by taking the Leap of Faith or surrendering to gravity down a 400 foot single zipline!

Giant Swing

This high ropes element is guaranteed to make your heart skip a beat! Your groupmates pull you up to 25 feet in the air and then ALL you have to do is pull the ripcord and swing! Your hard-won bravery instantly turns into elation.

Leap of Faith

Ascend a 30-foot tall, one-foot wide pole, stand on top, and … when you’re ready … leap to the trapeze that seems just out of reach. If you feel like showing your stuff, try some pull-ups before letting go and being lowered safely by the belay team.

Gravity Zip

Climb to a platform 38 feet in the air and then, with the help of an instructor, connect to an epic 400 foot single zipline and take the plunge! This element was made possible by The Chuck Foley Memorial Foundation.

Our High Adventure Course is the ultimate team-building activity for school groups, youth groups, scout troops, and corporate groups, and is a great birthday party or family reunion addition. Group members give encouragement and safety checks from the ground while one participant traverses the course.
