Jonathan came to camp as an Adventure Guide in Summer 2019 after it was recommended by his professor at Winthrop University, Geoff Morrow. From that Summer onward, he continued to work at camp year-round while continuing his studies. To Jonathan, Canaan is a land of opportunity: new friends, strengthened faith, and—most importantly—the opportunity to work alongside his then-crush and now-wife, Tabitha. After graduating from Winthrop in 2020 with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in Outdoor Leadership, he would join the full-time staff as the Adventure Manager, where he serves to this day. Jonathan is passionate about adventure programming and enjoys video games, spending time with friends, camping, and eating out.
