Matt Hunt began his journey with Canaan in June of 2019. As Program Director, Matt works with groups to help them have incredible adventures whether playing on the high ropes, riding the canopy tour, or kayaking down the Catawba. Matt has spent considerable time working and training on challenge courses and has a passion for helping others step out of their comfort zone.
Matt was born in Charleston, SC and attended North Greenville University where he graduated with a B.S. in Outdoor Experiential Education. After graduating, he married his college sweetheart, Beth, and together they moved to a summer camp in Virginia where Matt served as the Summer Camp Director from 2011-2019. Matt and Beth are enjoying being back in their home state with their two children, Graham and Lily.
