Opportunities for Teenagers, Rock Hill, SC
Don’t know what to do with your teenager over break? WE DO! Camp Canaan’s teen programming is designed to empower ages 14 to 17 through outdoor adventure and service. We have four great opportunities exclusively for teenagers, each filled with physical and spiritual activities.
Legacy Camp | Ages 14-15
Legacy Camp is a next-level awesome experience that lets teens send off their last summer at overnight camp in style. Campers enjoy camp traditions reserved only for their age group, like Tube-O-Mania, glow-in-the-dark night time ziplining, and a whole day on Lake Wylie!
Counselor in Training Program | Age 16
The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a three-week residency for teens with a servant’s heart who are passionate about working with kids and sharing the gospel. During the program, teens develop essential interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
Assistant Counselor Program | Age 17
The Assistant Counselor (AC) Program is for spiritually hungry teens who feel confident in their ability to lead a group of campers. The ultimate goal of the program is to challenge and develop strong, confident leaders for the future group of counselors here at Canaan.
Teen Leadership Camp | Ages 14-16
Teen Leadership Camp (TLC) is a week-long backpacking trip for teens that takes them out of their comfort zone to explore some of the Southeast’s most scenic places. This opportunity is offered once a year in the spring – capacity is extremely limited; book early!
