Beth Dalton
Overnight Camp Director
Beth Dalton grew up as a camp director’s kid, and instantly fell in love with summer camp! She is passionate about sharing the abundant life found in Christ through camp ministry. Beth was led to the Camp Canaan family in 2018, and throughout her time in college served in several part-time capacities such as Adventure Guide, Overnight Camp Counselor, Overnight Camp Lead, and Overnight Camp Director. In 2021, she took on the role of Canaan’s first-ever Intern and following her year of internship joined the team full time as Assistant Camp Director. She currently manages Canaan’s Overnight Camp and Intern Program.
In 2021, she graduated with a degree in English Education from Winthrop University, where she now teaches volleyball as an adjunct professor. You can typically find her doing something outside and active with her husband, Porter, and their dog, Sadie. Beth loves spending quality time with the people she loves, anything competitive, trips to Trader Joes, and having a baja blast!
