Clay Neal
Operations Director
Clay Neal is a committed steward of the land that has been entrusted to us. Clay became a member of the Camp Canaan Crew soon after the Groundbreaking Ceremony, and he’s been taking care of the grounds ever since!
Clay supervises the maintenance of the facilities, vehicles, and property here on The Island. During the summer you might see him driving our Big Green School Bus, monitoring the water quality of our 100,000-gallon swimming pool, riding a mower, or helping with an adventure program. He’s a kid at heart who just loves camp!
Clay and his wife, Kim, have two sons, Asa and Ethan. A dog named Chip and a cat named Boo Kitty round out the family. Clay is always looking for the next best hot dog or BBQ dive and loves all kinds of music, bird watching and stargazing. His greatest desire in life is that everyone will experience the love of Jesus.
