Kat Bowen

Kat started at Canaan in 2021 as a Resident Camp Counselor. She has served as a Canaan Intern, CIT/AC Lead Counselor, and now has started her new role as the Operations Manager. Kat views Canaan as a place where kids and adults alike can be truly themselves. Camp Canaan is the place where Kat, and many others, have found godly community and lifelong friendships. After graduating from Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in Next Generation Ministries, Kat seeks to build community, disciple, and lead the next generation. She does just that as the coordinator of our Counselor In Training (CIT) program. You can see Kat around the island riding a lawn mower, ziplining, belaying at the tower, or playing disc golf! Kat enjoys hanging out with friends, watching a good movie, playing board games, and getting a round of Spikeball in.
