Camp Canaan annually provides enriching summer camps, inspirational retreats and events, and exhilarating adventure activities for more than 10,000 young people, families, and adults. As a nonprofit organization, this important work is made possible by individuals, families, and corporate and foundation partners who generously give of their time, talent, and resources.

As we look to our immediate future and to our long-range plan, our hope is that you will join us in our mission of providing outdoor experiences that encourage growth in faith, including a deeper relationship with Christ and others. Ways to Give

A tax-deductible donation is a wonderful way to support Camp Canaan! Gifts in any amount help tremendously – here are some examples of how your pledge can make an impact.

$15/month – Fuels our boat for a full day of wakeboarding or tubing.
$25/month – Provides two weeks of firewood for campfires.
$50/month – Provides a nearly full scholarship for a child in need to attend camp.
$75/month – Provides additions/ upgrades to our adventure programs.
$100/month – Contributes to new purchases for summer campers to enjoy.

Our annual goal is to provide scholarships for at least 35% of children registered for our summer programs. We award need-based summer camp scholarships for ages 5-13 on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarships are offered for both Day and Overnight Camp.

The Camp Canaan HOVER program transforms lives by providing essential scholarships for kids who need financial support to attend summer camp. As part of the Hover Club, you’ll help ensure that children ages 5 to 16 can experience the joy of camp, learn valuable life skills, and build lifelong friendships. Members enjoy early registration, exclusive merchandise, and recognition on our website. Join us in making a difference—together, we can help these campers swim through life’s challenges! Join the Hover Club

Give of your time by helping us maintain our beautiful 100-acre island, clean up “our” section of the Catawba River, make repairs, or help with food service. Tell us what you’re interested in doing, and chances are we can put you to work! Individuals and groups welcome.

Give Sweat Equity

Have equipment, tools, materials, or supplies that might benefit Camp Canaan? Get in touch with us to see if we can make good use of your items – if we are able to accept your gift, you may get a tax deduction. It’s the ultimate win-win!
