Canaan Island Challenge

The Island Challenge is a Camp Canaan original. This fun-filled program adds a competitive twist to the classic field day, which unfolds over three Phases.

• Phase 1: Earn — teams must work together to complete as many challenges as possible in the time allotted, earning points along the way.
• Phase 2: Build — cash in those hard-earned points for supplies, which you need to construct your team’s unique flying contraption or glider.
• Phase 3: Compete — every team will compete in the grand finale, a glider competition for the ages! May the best glider win.

Interweave adventure into your field trip! Many school groups come to The Island for education as well as group development.
