Tori Bailey
Assistant Director-Overnight Camp
Tori joined the Camp Canaan team in 2020 as a counselor and spent many of the following years serving on summer staff before joining the full-time team in February 2026. She currently serves as one of the Assistant Camp Director and Resident Camp Director. Originally from Pickens, SC, a small mountain town in the Upstate, Tori loves camp ministry because it has had a significant impact on her own walk with Christ. Through Christian camp ministry, she learned how to deeply walk in her faith—not just call herself a Christian, but truly live as Christ calls us to. For Tori, it is a privilege to hopefully do the same for each camper who comes to Canaan, whether helping them grow their faith or introducing them to Jesus for the first time.
Tori’s favorite activity at Canaan is kayaking on the river! She loves getting to spend time on the water and enjoy the outdoors while doing what she loves.
For Tori, following Jesus means, “giving up the things that we ‘think’ will satisfy and instead seeking God to bring us full satisfaction. ‘God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him.’” – John Piper. Outside of camp, she enjoys reading, rock climbing, camping and backpacking, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
