Kim Neal
Hospitality Coordinator
Kim first became part of the Camp Canaan family in 2014, when she helped prepare meals for retreats while the buildings were still being constructed. After some time away, she returned to camp in 2022 as the “lunch lady” during summer camp. In early 2026, she stepped into her current role as Hospitality Coordinator, where she has the opportunity to serve retreat groups and help create a welcoming experience for every guest.
Originally from Bennettsville, SC, Kim enjoys kayaking, spending time outdoors, and making the most of God’s creation.
Through her work at Camp Canaan, Kim desires to serve others well and help create an environment where guests feel welcomed, cared for, and loved.
At the heart of Kim’s life and ministry is her relationship with Jesus. For her, following Jesus means laying down her wants and needs each day to the One who saved her. It means surrendering herself to Him and loving the people He places in front of her with the love He has already put inside of her. For Kim, following Jesus means choosing Him daily, trusting Him with her life, and allowing His love to flow through everything she does.
