Grace Potter

Grace joined the Camp Canaan team as an intern in 2025. Originally from Rock Hill, SC, she loves camp ministry because watching kids come out of their shells and truly be themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of camp. The love of Jesus on the island is unmatched, and she loves seeing and feeling that same love experienced by campers. Camp ministry is also especially meaningful to Grace because it’s where she first chose to truly follow Jesus and live for Him, rather than simply going to church. Her favorite activity at Canaan is the zipline!

For Grace, following Jesus means dying to self daily, letting go of the world’s ways, loving everyone, refusing judgment, serving others, and surrendering our lives to Him. Outside of camp, she enjoys photography and traveling, whether it’s day trips or adventures around the world.
